When's the best time for the test?
Aim to collect your blood sample within 3 hours of waking up to ensure we get the best snapshot of your health. If you're still experiencing periods, it would be great if you could collect your sample on the 3rd day of your period. And if you're no longer having periods, feel free to take the test whenever it suits you. Just a friendly reminder: If you're using HRT gel or cream, remember to use the opposite hand to collect your blood sample than the one you use for applying your treatment. This helps keep the sample nice and clean, free from any contamination.
